Just curious to hear what people's opinions are of integrating a flash site into a CMS system(such as Joomla) so you can make changes in the CMS and they appear in the flash. I have heard of ways of using XML but just curious to hear people's pros and cons of doing it.

We are thinking of paying someone to do it.

You just have to be careful with the designer. Flash has come a long way in terms of seo, but if it isn't designed correctly, all the flash in the world will just be viewed as a big fat image.

That being said, I think a splash of flash adds quite a bit to a site.

XML is nice in flash, because you can edit the content of the flash site without having to render it. It is much simpler from a user point of view. You have the design, and can just change the text without flash being required.
