Hello, whilst this is an advert...

It is a little different from the norm! Skip to the bottom to read about us, any questions please drop me an email. I tend to waffle on and am far to honest for my own good!

Would you like a dedicated server that you have Full access to?

----------------------------------------------------------------

# Dedicated Offer:

Server:
Windows 2003 STD R2
- Preinstalled for you, or you can install your own preferred OS!
Dual 2.8ghz Xeon
- We also have 3.06/3.2/3.4/3.6 available.
60gb 7200rpm Drive ( other options )
- 2nd drive option of physical or iSCSI available
2GB Memory
- Max is 8gb and optionally available

You get:
Direct IP KVM incl remote mount boot media & full power control.
2 Public IP's

Which are behind Snort intrusion detection.
The whole lot is held together by Cisco 3550 & 2950 switches & Cat6 and more zip ties and “German” cable running than you can shake a stick at.
VPN access to your box for RDP etc.. access.
Your server(s) sits in a private VLAN with ACL's.
Optional server hardening by manual or eeye IIS hardening.
Dual GHZ links with Teamed NIC's in 2k3

Still working out the bandwidth, but this is aimed at dedicated services rather than 2 trillion million gb's per month for .99p so far it’s been ample and we are upgrading.
** Checkout our site for details on the bunker, or I can email further details through.

How much?
Well £80 a month, no contract and no setup fee ( for the introduction ). Options are available and, we are not going to charge till the cows come home just because you need an extra bit of memory!

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What else can we offer?
RAQ’s available as front end Web servers & 2k3 IIS6 Web Farms
We can do Altiris snapshots off your server and rebuild to new/your server.
Backups to our local NAS ( Multiple SANS & RAID )
SQL2005 servers for offloading your DB hosting available.
Hosted Exchange 2003 ( 2005 coming Jan )
- Free trials available.

We can build just about whatever you need! This is just summary of options.

It's in a Nuclear Bunker miles away from big cites, details on our website. Bunker has zero public access to the underground vault and I share the facility with an ISP and one other firm only.

*** The offer is based on the above spec, however we can easily change spec ( any of it ) to tailor to your needs. Plenty of other options other than those listed.

**** Need a couple of servers, or your own dedicated infrastructure? Just drop me an email and we can take it from there.

The catch? Well none really, have a read and again please ask if you have any queries! We only bite if the bill goes overdue.. :)

Ok so the "about us", or to start "about me".

I have been working in infrastructure for 12years now from engineer to systems architect level and just about everything in between.

The company is something I started back in may as I had requests from people I knew for hosting. Varying from a couple of websites to 2003 clusters. And I thought, why not?

I guess the catch is, we are a small company. And I mean tiny!

So really the clients that we would appeal to, are those that want the hardware with all the control they need but without the fuss of colo or faffing around looking after the kit.

Now this is not my main job, but I work 24x7 so you I’m nearly always around. If the company grows, I do have people in the wings to take control of support at varying level and will get more involved as we go along.

But as you have complete control, it's pretty much help yourself on your dedicated kit!

What I am looking for, is people who are genuinely interested to stick a deposit down £20 ( refundable in the first months bill ) and be able to hang on till we go live in Jan with this. Drop me an email, if I am not live by the date we agree you can have your £20 back and a sincere apology.

Need a VM to play with now? Not a problem, the wait till Jan is I am combining my racks together changing to leased lines and upgraded the infrastructure. All the kit's ready but hosting costs money, so I’m looking to get more people to jump on board come Jan!

If you would like benchmark test results from the server in the offer please ask, there are also DL380 G4's DL320 G2's and Dell 2650's available.

Sorry for the long winded add, marketing was never my strong point! Much prefer screwdrivers and a cup of tea.

So if you know what you need, want the option of full control to install your server to your spec or build on a preinstalled ( but a clean, no crap proper install ) box with little to a bit of help, well I look forward to hearing from you!

Please note I am away on the 7th ( yup, that’s how small we are! ) so will reply to emails on the 8th. But you may find some answers on our webpage.

Of course clients have my mobile number!

Cheers, James

PS: On a side note, if you think you could come on board and help the company grow then please drop me an email. Definitely lacking in sales & marketing!

Yup, it's on the fritz. New website being made at present. Any budding web guru's out there, get in touch. As per my add, the infrastructure is spot on that's my department but web development php etc.. well that I am sure you guys are far better at! : )

hence addresss: info@nukeproofhosting.co.uk

It would not work the way I wanted it too, as i did not want to open up that amount of access so i went for safe & broken.
