Hi,

Does anyone here have recommendations for Enom reseller accounts? Best I've seen is $8.95 - anyone cheaper?

Already seen Name123.com and DomainSmarty

Cheapest isnt always best. Enom does not allow us ETPs to create reseller accounts less than $8.95.

Fair enough. Does anyone have recommendations at that level though? Does it actually matter who you sign up with (guessing resellers who give out accounts just get a commission - or do they have control of sub-resellers domains?)

ETPs cannot make any changes within your reseller account. Certain non-private things can be seen. Subaccount pricing can be modified however. This is probably the biggest reason that you need to feel you can trust your ETP. ETP's don't get a commission per se... we earn the difference in the buy price that we pay to enom vs the price that you pay.

DomainSmarty gives good support. I'd go with them if I were looking for a eNom Reseller. You might try CrucialNames for price.

Hey Stu -- It is my understanding that no ETP can issue subreseller accounts (as per the OP's question) for less than the $8.95 price point. Am I missing something or are you referring the OP to the special retail pricing that Crucial offers?

http://namezoom.net/ has $8.95 accounts but it's $7.95 after $1.00 rebate. not sure how it works.

I feel a little more comfortable now - there seems to be enough competition that I dont think people who put up prices would do so well. And besides - surely there is a way to transfer between Enom resellers? (I know it can be done between OpenSRS registrars)

seek here the 6.95 offer in crucial names ( no remember the Link ), seek steventay recent posts.

By the way, if price is not the principal detail, i ALWAYS go for namecheap.com or namepros.com , second have reseller accounts adn domains are registered under enom.

Good luck.

I'm referring to their retail pricing. A $2 saving on registrations might make them think twice about the need for reseller features. Oftentimes people use the term reseller as a synonym for cheaper prices.

Think I'm gonna go with NamePros - looks like the people behind it are pretty established and they have a pretty decent community to go along with it too. If I get annoyed I can always move somewhere else.

Cheers for the suggestions guys :)

Just set up an account with them. Pretty happy with Enom so far - they have a support office in the UK - and its in my home city too :)
