Be a bit more realistic... how much trasnfer do you need? cheers, Web King 03-01-2001, 01:34 PM RackShack offers around $69/$79 for 100GB but I want Linux Server NOT RAQ. I've done lots of research but coulnd' find a good deal on Linux Server. How much does it cost to run a DSL at 1MB BOTH down/up stream? any help? allan 03-01-2001, 01:49 PM Its not the cost when running DSL at that speed, its the distance. You would need to be extremely close to the Central Office to get 1 Meg both ways. If you are able to get it, a 1 Meg business account will cost you roughly $300-$350 a month. Chicken 03-01-2001, 10:12 PM Web King- I'm guessing you haven't tried DSL yet. If you have it, you'd probably notice that it isn't the most reliable line. Nor is it redundant. You'd do better both in quality and speed by leasing/colo'ing a server from a reputable company IMHO. |
