We are looking for a free web hosting control panel for a project we are working on. (Not a free control panel, but a control panel to be used for free hosting).

I know of xpanel and ipanel, however I was wondering if anyone knows any other ones out there?

What would be the feature needed by that "free hosting" control panel? Wouldn't it be the same as for normal hosting?

Not exactly, maybe I should explain a little better. The control panel would include a sign up feature, among other things.

It should be lightweight, and does not need all the features that cPanel has.

Typically accounts are created username.maindomain.com or maindomain.com/username

There program may be ok, but there support and installation is terrible. I payed for an installation, but they half did and never completed.

When did you pay them to do this? I heard recently they were bought out by a new company and now have better support...
