Does anyone know by any chance why this stupid cellphone doesn't tell me how much battery life I have left under the status thing?

I heard the T67 is better, trade it in :D

PS damn, I own T66.net so now my domain is redundant

heh I don't think they will give me that one for free like they did this one :) I got this one because my A2218z got the sh*t beat out of it one day when I was mad, and um, it was insured, heh. I don't think there is a T67 though?! Maybe T68? I dunno. If you mean the color one, they won't let me trade it in, I have to pay for it, this one cost me a measly $30.

Anyways, it is just pissing me off, because the damn thing doesn't show the battery life in the status menu like my last 3 Ericsson's did, I don't know it maybe it sees it as an alien battery or something, or if it isn't suppose to show it.

Nononono, they have one on the phone, like on the "main" screen, a picture of a battery that shows it, but on my last 3 phones, when you go to the status screen (by clicking the button on the side) it would tell you in hours/minutes approximately how much life is left, that's what I mean :)

The 8210 is what I have. I swear I've lost it 10 times and it's always under the couch LOL

Yeah, I like my 8210 :) The 5210 is about the same as the 8210 accept it has WAP, Temp Censor, Bounce Protection (if you drop it) and a few other extras :)

Whilst we're on a phone discussion - I have http://www.nokia.com/phones/6210/ - it gets bumped around a *lot*, especially when I'm walking through the train aisles every day and accidentally whack it against a chair or something whilst it is in my pocket.

I was going to buy an 8250 or 8210, but it seems every man and his dog has it so I decided against it and bought the 6210. It has all nice features like synchronisation with my Palm and Lotus Notes, calendar, wap, etc.

None of the Ericsson phones I've had over the years have had a thing to tell you the hours/minutes/etc left on the battery - maybe it was model specific?
