hi i am thinking of buying a domain name with .us at the end of it, its a small 2worded domain name which i like a lot. What i want to know is if i choose to sell this later on will a .us name get much money or do only .coms get sold\??

Well if it's a good name, you should be able to make something off of it. OTOH, there are a lot of restrictions on who can purchase a .us domain, so you limit your market.

if the .us domain name contains highly searched for keywords, and you build a good site around it, then you should be able to sell it for a good amount.
But generally, it is hard to just register a new name and sell it for a lot. The ones that go for a lot are usually .com's
.us may be worth as little as 5% of their dotcom counterparts.

What people don't realize about domain names is that unless it's a common word ( stocks.com, drugs.com etc) the rest if up to you and your advertising.

i agree. peeople that register rtrwea.us in hopes of selling for a profit are simply morons. they think "it has endless potential!" these are the same people that think they can make money by putting random banners on there 1k hit a month sites.
