These are available (as in you can register them now) and have recently expired. They have not shown up as drops yet. They're nothing too fancy but perhaps someone will make use of of a few of these. I am not aware of their PR ranks. There are roughly 30,000 .com's that expired yesterday and I'm not even half way through the list. I'll have more later.

If you want a raw list of expiring .com, .net, or .org, then leave me a message and I'll give you the list(s) I have.

cuzar.com
dailyfreevidoes.com
dancinghighlights.com
clearlymurky.com (would be good for a blog or news site)
designersinmotion.com
qa0.org
dilafm.com
dingshing.com (?)
dirtywidgets.com
divasofmyspace.com
docwed.com
domerooms.com
dryasin.com
easyislander.com
editablefoods.com
ef2league.com (1 drop since 2002)
egysix.com
electricvehiclefacts.com (could be a nice investment)
electricvehicletruth.com (ditto)
emblums.com (not like anyone knows how to spell anywae)
emwanga.com

Just a quick note: I'm not selling anything. I just wish to keep the lists away from the public eye, so to speak.

Bah, here people:

http://www.batchnews.com/files/10_30_07-net.txt

Quick note: it takes me a day or two to receive any positive results for the domains being available. My 10-29 list has many available domains where as my 10-30 list shows none. this is probably due to my supplier.

There are probably 24,000+ expiring on the .com list. I will get 10/29 and 10/31 up soon. Same name, just with a 31 instead of a 30. If you want .org's, then just whine and I'll get them up to.

Alright people, here's 10/30 & 10/29 - com/net/org/biz/us. Please keep in mind that the .com lists reach between 24,000 and 35,000 names. I know of only one domain checker which allows unlimited domains, but it's very generic and doesn't show anything but availability.

My VPS is down for a bit while I make backups. The lists are still there, don't worry.

Also, "Wan-Fu" has gone ahead and gobbled the domains I listed. If this name shows up in any of the domains you're looking at, just expect the name to be dropped within 7-10 days. A lot of the available domain names, when searched via whois will end up getting snatched by companies like this in hopes of reselling them. So, don't despair.

Thanks a bunch! :) Also, what's with the Wan-Fu guy?

All the domains I'm checking seem to be registered again....wow, really quick. lol

Check the name servers on the domains. I've noticed a lot of the domains that are supposedly registered on the drop date are domain harvesting companies. If they were all registered on the day they were supposed to expire / drop, then they might have been picked up for "domain tasting" in an effort to sell the domain within an short period of time.

Look at the list from 10/29 and you'll have more success. If I check 10/31's list, I might see 1 .com available. If I check 10/30's (now) then I'll most probably find 10% are available. If I wait another week, it'll probably move up to 20% easily.

There's always a fight for COM's. ORG's are tossed by the wayside. If you really want a domain on the list and it hasn't been registered by a real person, then you're best off spending the cash needed to get it. Gambling on the drop / expire rush isn't worth it.

Here's a few from the 10/30 list which became available today. Note, they weren't available at all yesterday. These were checked 2 minutes ago (nothing really good). They're on there, but you have to fight the larger companies which are snatching names up in hopes of making 100 fold profit.

Thanks. I'm kind of confused now...if they got registered, then they won't be available for at least another year, right? But you said they'll be available in a few days? And yeah, I've noticed a lot of them are taken by harvesters. :( Quite a few I want are already taken by them...

There are several registrars that offer "domain tasting" which allows you to ditch a domain after 5-7 days (thus costing you nothing). What a lot of these companies are doing is very similar. There are plenty of motives - mostly money.

If I want batchnews.com and X company registers it immediately after it drops, then I'm forced to pay the money or risk losing it to another buyer.

I'd imagine that 3rd party harvesting results in commission from backordering sites as well. I might be wrong there, but it sounds good.

I'm going to do a bit of research and find out who exactly is snatching up the majority of domains I find. It would be interesting to find out. I've seen domains with the worst names and yet, the company still snatches them up.

Oh, I see. How exactly are you finding these domains?

GloryImSaved

I'm not too familiar with the technical details of how certain companies do it. The basics are: master lists are compared from day to day to find expiring / expired domains.

I'm getting these lists through a private source. There are several companies out there that charge for the domain lists. A lot of these sites are just middle men and are reselling the same lists.

Ohh, ok. Thanks a bunch for the list!

There is no need to go through a list of 30000 names. I use a website that takes the list, filters it with a good list of key words which knocks it down to around 6000 names. then they check that list for availability. which comes down to around 400-1000 names. This short list is a heck of a lot easier to search plus the names have a better chance of being decent since they were filtered. Anyways, if you want to check out the site I use here it is. FilteredDomains dot com.

Well, here's the problem: you're advertising a service that requires a subscription.

Some people don't want a middle man and wish to work with the raw lists.

Domainiac
11-04-2007, 04:49 PM
yeah, I get that. Just from a time standpoint it is kinda hard to work, have a family and then try to look at 30000 names. hope I didn't break a forum rule....didn't mean to give away free advertising.

I just cut / paste the raw lists and a script checks availability. I prefer that anyways due to countless domains being dropped a few days after the rush is over.
