CW WTF?

I have found a few in the past. I'm sure they say not to do it in their TOS, but they just dont check for it.

Anyone know of hosting companies like this?

I'm confident the RIAA would like to know this as well.

I am sure reputable hosting companies will remove content from their servers that infringes copyright and/or the TOS/AUP should they know it is there.

If I knew I wouldn't tell you, thief. Why don't you try doing something legal instead of living off the hard work of others.

From reading numerous pages of posts about this company over the past few weeks, it doesn't look like they care about a lot of things

Ummm I dont think your going to have much luck finding a host that is going to host your illegal MP3's for you and risk the chance of having his/her server pulled.. I would suggest leaving the MP3 trading to the P2P clients.

OMG!
Besides not being the "CW victims" personal forum, WHT is also not a "Help me find a illegal host" forum.

Thats bad WHT getting scammed when you were planning on scamming others. How will you make a living?

If you want to get illegal mp3s then log onto Kazaa or any other P2P network.

If you are the owner of the mp3s then there will be no problem finding hosting. Using a web host account as an mp3 dump is not a very smart thing to do if you aren't the owner of the files.

if you want illegal content - go to the right place to find it - gnutella clients. However - It has always been my personal belief that the content in a users account is their property - and what they do with it is their business. I'll probly get flamed for this - but note that if things such as child pornography, stolen credit card information.. etc - action will be taken.

I agree with the boy Neil..
In my experience most hosts don't care about mp3's, yep once you sign up they don't care about small things like that and neither they should..
Anyway isn't mp3's on website a bit outdated unless there rare files?.

He didn't say anything about serving them to others.

It's not illegal to make MP3s of your CDs and store them on a server, despite what anyone may tell you. If he's distributing them, then it's illegal, but he didn't say anything about that.

ATST

1) A sever implies that files are being served, and 2) he/she didn't ask about file storage, he/she asked about hosting which will occur on a server.

Neil might just be a man.

Do you have a reference for that? You're reproducing a copyright piece of work, whether for distribution or not.

Cheers

It has actually been made legal in Denmark as long as it is for personal use and I'm sure Denmark isn't the only country.

in Australia doing that is legal only for "backup" purposes!

So no sharing :P

I didn't think that applied here (in Australia), except in the case of some software where the EULA states it. Music CD's can't be reproduced in any form can they?

This was just a pointless topic to post as no host will allow this regardless.
