I thought maybe some of you would know the answer to my question/problem.

I'm in need to buy a book online.

But I don't have a credit card (and no access to one)...

And I was wondering if any of you know if there's a place online that accepts orders by check -- via online (electronic checks?).
(and no, I don't have a check card).

If anyone can help me out, that would be fab. !! :)

Mailing a check would take too long -- I need this within the week... :( Don't know if this would help but, have you looked for an online bookstore that accepts PayPal. You can usually setup a PayPal account quickly if the online store accepts payments for PayPal accounts.

PayPal account restricted... with $64 in the account.. :( And no way to prove my check card is actually mine (different bank account -- paypal account is under an online only checking account - no written statements... grrr...)

If it's a tech book, maybe you want to consider bookpool. They are great. For other kinds of books, I don't know. Maybe the local bookstore :stickout
