HostDime seems better than Hostgator because offers more disk space and bandwidth with lower prices. What do you think?

You shouldn't always look only at the prices.
If you do a little more search you will find hosts offering a few TB of disk space for a few $.
But you have to keep in mind that you will get for what you pay.

What do you think?I think that if more disk space and bandwidth for a lower price is all you care about, you're right. The picture might change once you take other things into account.

Find out what customers say about the services, compare the actual offer (they use different hosting platforms), consider what control panel your customers are most likely to prefer etc.

You have to choose between two girls/boys (depending on your genre and preferences). Can you conclude that the better looking one is the better person? ;)

Definitely compare other features side by side, what type of support you get, value added services included, type of hardware running... should help in picking the better host for your needs.

I think a good deal of traffic comes to this website from people who believed that "more X and Y for less $ = better".

If you think that you can get resources likes a dedicated server for the price of an hamburger, then, it should be fine for you.

I have used Host Dimes dedicated servers in the past, and I thought they had a good services. Support ticket responses were reasonably quick (probably less than 1 hour). It has been a few years, but that is my experience with HostDime.

@holyspirit

Please don't take my comments as being against HostDime, they were not meant to be. I was just making a comment on the "more/cheaper is better" thought. I don't have direct experience with Hostdime but I know others that do.

What exactly are your needs/plans for the reseller account? What are your needs? Plenty of good resellers just do some research on these boards.

We have reseller accounts on Hostdime. The uptime of the servers is not under 99.5%. Some times some bugs accurr on the servers. But they fix them quickly. They have a lot of employes and work very hard. Their support is fast. Also their hosting plans provide a lot of free tools like RVSkin, Fantastico.. etc. I recommend them personally.
