Hi!
We are currently hosted with DI and are pretty happy with them.
But now I am looking for a second provider where I can setup a failover server in case anything goes wrong (like server down, DI network unreachable).
So I am looking for a provider which can offer the following:
- Good network connection and reliability
- OpenBSD server (if possible) or Linux (if not)
- decent hardware
- at least 20GB of average/actual bandwidth
- at max US$ 250
I have been looking at racklocation which seems very good but I just don't need a managed server. Network connection and reliability are most important. Since our site is pretty static but serving large files via ftp/http we do not need top-notch hardware.
Thanks for your help!
