I have been looking for reviews from people that use the reseller hosting plans at vexxhost.com, but i can't find any...

Only reviews from shared and VPS hosting users!
I assume this company is kinda new...

Anyone have experiences with vexxhost?

Hello, it is not a criticism of your person but the site vexxhost.com gives the impression of being a reseller.

Same thinking as you.
Their offers seem to be too much overselling.

Yep, not only this host but, recently, the biggest companies appears to use overselling tactics. I think that something needs to be done by the USA Gov because it's not right to buy something that does not exist. I think it's a crime!

I'd rather to buy real 5MB HD with 15MB bandwidth than buy false 300GB HD with 3000GB Bandwidth

Great. But everyday there will be someone who will be fascinated by the huge offer and will fall into them before a second thought. It's nice to see that there are people who do think in the right way.

It's the "Shiny Object" syndrome. I find it amazing how a normally intelligent and thoughtful person turns into a total tool when offered mega-resources or unlimited everything accounts for next to nothing. I guess there has to be those people who are willing to buy the Brooklyn Bridge.

If you can prove that they will not allow you use those bw/hd then it's overselling.

who is the crazy man that will upload 300GB in files with +-30KBps connection? and who is the person that have 3000GB bandwidth traffic site?

the person who indicates that will use what he bought is almost always asked to migrate for a dedicated plan or his account is canceled.

The most resources users go to a DEDICATED SERVER with how much disk space? 80GB, 160GB or 300GB with infinity combinations; most dedicated servers allow only 1500GB of bandwidth and offers unmetered connection for just some hundred dollars!

It's not a case to prove if a host can provide or not such service, it's a case of being logical and realistic!

The resellers providers (includind oversellers) offers what would be the real space/band for real price because if not all the customers accounts will crash in a momment. (resellers usually use full contracted resourses so if they offer a 300GB HD with 3000GB Band to resellers, like they do in shared hosting, everything will crash!)

For accounts resellers, (we), having overseller companies is a big disadvantage because we can't compete with name and with prices!

At least, in my point of view, internet is a big niche for idological falsehood (people and business) we can have many problems if nothing is done ;)

I see :)
Well i just found someone who has some dedicated servers in the Us and hongkong. Now he wants to start a small webhosting service for Europe and he asked if i wanted to help.

I understand you points, they know not much resellers will use there max space and BW, so they say they offer this much and try to buy a new server on time, when they see that people are olmost using everything possible on there servers...
Someday it will go wrong...

If you can prove that they will not allow you use those bw/hd then it's overselling.Actually, it's false advertising, unless the limit is indirect, due to other clauses in the TOS.
