Other than from what is obvious like MySQL support, new kernel etc... What would you buy ? Was quote by 2 suppliers - RaQ4i - on offer while stocks last - and I checked today, they still have stock - between S$1,399 to S$1,499 or between US$778 to US$833 <assuming US$1 = S$1.80> and a RaQ550 base model - 1GB CPU 40MB HDD 256MB RAM - CBTR5DJ42VIM costs between S$2910 to S$3200 or between US$1617 to US$1778.... now taking the higher quotes ... FiberOptic 08-02-2002, 09:23 PM If that are the prices of servers at your country, I wouldn't hesitate for a second... And I think most of us either. A RaQ550 isn't worth the DOUBLE price of a RaQ4. So, go for a RaQ4. If you really have too much load, you can still buy a second one, or a RaQ550 if they please you that much. Starhost 08-02-2002, 09:49 PM Don't take a raq! Take a normal server and install a custom Control panel on it.If you though want a Raq go for the 550, because of the better hardware and the software development for 550 is still in process while the raq 4 is almost dead.
