Can anyone recommend a reputable reseller host that has phpsuxec compiled on their servers, or something similar so that 777 permissions are not allowed?
Ideally I would like their datacentres to be located on the east coast or up toward the Chicago area. Thanks.

mesobob,
There are many hosting companies having this enabled; try the WHT offer section to find one.
Good luck in your search.

Hi,
I don't think that will be issue... most of them should have phpsuxec complied..
Is there any particular reason that you are looking east coast?
Thanks

I live in the northeast, I generally get better speeds with an east coast provider.

PHPSuExec is quite common among hosts, but it's not a "feature" they would regularly be advertising, so this may take a little more work on your part. You'll most likely have to contact each host and ask if they do have it installed (but then again, it's a good idea to contact hosts you're interested in anyways!).

My thinking too.
I`ll put together an email and send the same one to a bunch of providers. I`m just not a fan of 777 permissions! PHPSuExec, suPHP or whatever is fine by me.

mesobob, that would indeed be a good idea, even better if you ask about all your other requirements as well, when you are busy anyways ;)

Does h9 run phpsuexec? I need to set permissions of directories when install programs.
I also send email to Innohosting, they said, 'At this time, we do not run phpsuexec or suphp.'

I would contact H9 and just ask them. Chances are there they do run it.

I think they are a lot, it's better and personally I prefer it!
Direct contact with providers will be the solution here
