Hey guys and girls,

I was just wondering as to your opinions on who has the best website interface when it comes to purchasing a domain name.

Are there any features/functionality you wish were present on your favourite domain registrar's website? Anything you absolutely hate?

As you might guess, I'm involved in a redesign of our domain name registration interface - so who better to ask the opinion of than people who live and breathe this stuff? :) Please let me know what you think.

It's not just the registration process you need to consider, but also the managing the domains in your account. GoDaddy has the best control panel for managing multiple domains, but their registration process sucks. You need a clean an simple registration process, something like eNom's. There are probably others.

GoDaddy is good for managing, you immediately see the status of all the domains. You can switch between domains easily. But it is very slow and has lots of graphics. Graphics slow down stuff unnecessarity.
Dynadot is fast, you get details of no. of domains, status and other info quickly.

I think you're going to get varying opinions on here about this. I like namecheap.com because of their clean, uncluttered user interface.

I also like their Express Checkout feature, where buying a domain is much faster.

I forgot to add, for fast registration, I like the bulk registration feature of Logicboxes /Directi takes less than 30 seconds to complete a registration
