BiaSecurity 08-01-2002, 09:51 PM I think that you can get fdisk or a free variant for windows. one thing i did, was use an old linux installation cd, to parition my dirve :) you can get some of linux .iso images from www.linuxios.org and then use their installation progam also check out www.sourceforge.net they have a few windows tools that may be of use to you i am sorry i do not know anymore Good Luck www.bia-security.com BiaSecurity 08-01-2002, 09:52 PM linuxiso.org :) sorry for the typo www.bia-security.com Noldar 08-01-2002, 09:57 PM You can try Ranish Partition Manager. I played with it a little about a year ago, but never really made use of it since I also had a copy of Partition Magic. http://www.ranish.com/part/ Richard untitledcp 08-02-2002, 02:21 AM yeh fdisk comes with dos and therefore all windows, not sure bout it being present on nt based windows though. Ranish is good but it can be a bit scary at times, if your looking for a truley simple system save up the forty bucks and go buy Partition Magic, because nothing else touches it for its ease of use, IMHO. neil 08-02-2002, 10:04 AM You're probly wanting something that will resize partitions to install inux? If so the only thing I know of is ranish. |
