Hello,
I am looking for free PHP based chat script. Can anyone make any recommendations?
I know I can just Google for "php chat" and get a number of scripts. I am asking for suggestions or recommendations based on personal experiences.

My suggestion -> write your own. If you can`t , HotScripts.com . Highest rated are better :)

phpMyChat is a pretty popular php chat as well.

It depends on what type of chat. If it's for website support I suggest http://helpcenterlive.com
Otherwise keep looking.

the type of chat you use should depend on the purpose.
is it just for chatting? or for support etc...
