Other day I sent an email to somebody at his domain.com

I received an autoresponse telling me
============
To fight spam and make sure that you are a human and not robot
before this email is deliverd you need to reply
you do not need to add any thing to the contents .
==============

This sounds a great idea how can I have that for my domain?

I have seen that several time. Hotscripts.com can help you. Just search for mail scripts there.

This is a feature in cPanel, and it is called 'box trapper'.
Most of the time, hosts have it disabled.

I think that this script will be discovered soon and spamers will answer automaticly for those back emails.

that is right box trapper.

Now does any body know in my host manager how can I enable that for clients?

and is there any thing wrong with this?

To be honest, all that does is validate the email address to the spammer,

even easier that coaxing the client into clicking something to validate it,

a script could be written in minutes to read and process a response,

its gotta be the worst idea in the world, the only way this could be good is if you had to reply with an image generated authentication code that a robot cant read

sorry to burst the bubble, but its true

^^agrees with chrissalter.
In fact, any time I've received such a response I typcially won't reply and just do without communicating with that person. It just shows me that they haven't thought it through...

I agree with Bear. I really hate it when people use these strategies. Its quite poor IMHO and i would never recommend it.

Yup. The worst is when someone signs up for hosting, using one of those email addresses, and then starts yelling at us 24 hours later because they never rec'd their account information.
