i have been looking into godaddy transfer agreements etc, i m little bit confused plz help me out guys

OK one of my client want me to host/transfer his two domain from his previous hoster, i want to know can i transfer the domain ...let me give you the facts

1st Domain
Registrar:Directi Internet Solutions d/b/a PublicDomainRegistry.Com
Created On:14-Oct-2004
Last Updated On:15-Oct-2007
Expiration Date:14-Oct-2008

2nd Domain

PublicDomainRegistry.com
Creation Date: 02-Feb-2007
Expiration Date: 02-Feb-2008

Now i want to transfer both to my own account to godaddy
now from ur past experiences kindly tell:
1) will godaddy be givin me one extended yr from expiration date.
2) Precisely the 1st domain, should i tell my client to not panic and tell his previous host to point the name servers to mine, and then later transfer.

Transferring the 2nd domain should not be a problem. The 1st domain was recently renewed and therefore needs 45 dasy before it can be transfered. I have however heard about some registrars not extending the domain name a further year if the domain is less than 60 days old from renewal time. Something like that. I know none of these answers are specific to what GoDaddy actually does. It's best that you their support directly. GoDaddy may or may not follow ICANN procedures and rulings.
