When shopping and using domain name registrars, what are your top 3-5 registrars? Based on its reputation, quality of service, hacker safe, features (like private whois), etc.

Well of course most people (including me for a start) used godaddy. Purely because that was one of the only domain registrars i kept hearing about. I did use enom for 1 domain then ive now swiched to Sinai Domains because its part of my web hosts im with company so makes support easier for the two.
Its ICANN acredited and terms of features. A few nothing special. Just a get a domain up transfer it etc but runs fine as should.

I was a while back going to get one from registerfly as i heard they were good untill this big thing about its owners and it closed etc etc.

So my top 3 (sorry not 5)

ENOM
GODADDY
SINAI DOMAINS

I have two picks

Webnic.cc
Opensrs.net

Both are efficient and have great support.

Network Solutions has a great control panel, and it feels stable and secure.
But of course they're expensive.

I have my most priced domain with them.

The rest are with namecheap, and moniker.

Directi & Enom. Directi for the pricing structurer (cheaper) and sub-reseller features. Enom for fast DNS and Whois updates.

Ah that reminds me i just bought domain couple days ago from the Sinai Domains one and it could use it on my site straight way. I remember domains taking ages to update the ns stuff etc.
