Hello
I just signed up with Paypal and added my credit card info.
1- Am I able to start selling and buying with it immediately?
2- After signup I looked at my credit card statement and found that a $1 charge from paypal has appeared on it. What is this? Will they ask about a transaction naumber etc?
The credit card statement for this card does not show anything about transaction numbers just (date, amount and company that charged the card) nothing more. Then what can I do if they ask me?
3- Am I able to use it now without adding a bank account without problem?
Regards,
Mac

Hi Mac
Paypal put a limit on your account until the card has been verified, if you have got the card statement with their id number on it then you can verify your account now and limits will be taken away.
The verification code is a 4 didgit number which should appear next to where it says paypal on your card statement, oipen your paypal account, click verify and add that number.
The $1 charge is part of the verification process to make sure that the card has been set up correctly, i can't remember whether they refund it or not.
You should once your account has been verified be able to add accounts/send / revceive money without a problem.
Hello,
Thank you for your help but this is the only thing appeared in my statement:

I believe this is just account verification procedure.
When you add checking account they deposit 2 small amounts and ask you what are this amounts. I think same applies to the credit card.

With a credit card, they debit $1.95 (maybe it's more because I'm an international member?), then refund it on the first time you send someone money.
Paypal warn that if you contact your credit card company and ask for help, they'll cancel your account  - I'd guess because your CC company will complain to PayPal, which they don't want.

(Yes.. However, keep in mind that we do have certain withdrawal requirements if you plan on accepting money).
2- After signup I looked at my credit card statement and found that a $1 charge from paypal has appeared on it. What is this? Will they ask about a transaction naumber etc?
(This is a pre-auth charge that will fall off. It simply verifies that the card is good. It is pretty much a standard way of validating a credit card).
The credit card statement for this card does not show anything about transaction numbers just (date, amount and company that charged the card) nothing more. Then what can I do if they ask me?

(Yes. Domestic (US) users can send to 2000.00 before they have to confirm a bank account.
