I hate to chime in with a simple "me too", but as clocker1996 said... nice offer :)

I'll be needing another server in about a month and a half, I'll definately add you to the list of candidates.

Is it just me, or does that setup fee seem "really up there" -- even for a Managed Server?

Yeah. I need a dual processor machine as it happens v. urgently but not at that price of setup. :) Very nice deal though if you can afford the start-up cost.

Contact me off list - we can work with you on setup costs if you're willing to sign a six month or a one year contract.

Questions:

1) What do you mean by "DSL directly to your server?"

2) You're at Global Compass right?

Thanks In advance...

Very nice offer by the way...:D

If you are in the Atlanta area, we can sell you a DSL circuit which will be on network with your server - meaning you should be able to get less than a 15ms ping to it, and should be able to max out your download/upload speeds to your server.

Yes, we're in the Global Compass data center.

Thanks for your interest!

Yeah, we've had a pretty positive experience with their uptime thus far - ever since they moved to redundant routers back a few months ago, I don't think we've had even a millisecond of downtime on our multi-homed network.

I just posted new pricing for our server offers. Let me know if you think this pricing is more attractive now. :)

It's looking much better now, Jeffrey.

I understand when you say, "All pricing information contained in this offer applies only to this offer, and are only available at the time of signup at the advertised rates.", but I wouldn't have thought the "Optional Upgrade Fees" were that special -- as far as pricing? I don't get out much though, so it could just be me. :D

What I didn't see was any pricing for upgrading the monthly 200GB data transfer. Is there a better price available than the $2.00 per GB in 10GB increments, for someone that wants 300GB or more?

You also stated, "Additional IP addresses available at no charge" and yet, I don't see "any" IPs included in the packages. Oversite perhaps?

That statement about the pricing is just to protect us in case RAM prices were to shoot up or something, and someone couldn't come back and say "Well, hey, you said it was for $XXX.XX here, you should honor that price."

We can do 300GB more for $300.

We include 8 IP addresses with the server by default (5 usable), however, if you can justify the need for more, we'll give you as many as you need.

Thanks for your interest!
