Hi all!
After my reseller account having been down since Friday and not receiving any email, (xsishost.com) I am moving on to greener pastures. I have read some good reviews about VT6, does anybody have anything bad to say about them? Their 2nd anniversary special of 20gb, 300gb bdwh for 9.50 pound sounds too good to be true. Anyone have anything to add before I sign up with them?
Also, if I do sign up with them, which location would be better, USA or UK? They seem to offer both.
Thanks in advance for all your comments,
Mike
EDIT:
If you have suggestions to a better reseller here are my specs and budget:
20-25GB Space
Bandwidth not important but no less than 100GB/month
Unlimited Accounts
Unlimited everything else
Budget: $10-20 /month
Cheers!
M.

Where are your target audience located?
Your basically just cutting out the latency caused by your website travelling across the atlantic.

My audience is mostly in the USA/Canada and Central America area. So I guess USA would be better. I was just asking to see where the support of VT6 would be better. Latency isnt critical, I host basic business home pages, my main concern is a quick turnaround in case of problems.

Hi
10GB space for £9 month is rather cheap. Personally i found backups can cost almost that here in the UK so how they can afford to sell hosting at that price i dont know.
However it is linux so i guess thats why its cheap but still, you get what you pay for.

Their live support is offline. Maybe you should try submitting a support ticket to them to test out the response time.

I did just do that, lets see what happens. If anyone has some info on their hosting services (I have read some people are hosting with them) or have any suggestions for a better resale provider, please post. M.

ckshosting,
If your target audience is mostly USA-based you should go for our USA datacentre as it will give your visitors better speeds.
Which datacentre you choose has no impact on support. We have techs available in a few time zones and at the very worst you'd only have to wait until ~7AM GMT when I start work.
I can assure you none of our offers are "too good to be true" - we are taking smaller profit margins on the 2nd anniversary specials, but we are still profitable and don't oversell to a terrible extent. Whether you have RAID or not will depend on which server your account is placed on, but all shared/reseller accounts are backed up offsite daily.
I believe we have a ticket from you under sales which was answered by myself earlier today. You can generally expect much faster responses from support than sales as we have more people working on support.
I'll get onto live chat now :)

Hi
Ill back up VT6 on his points.
Ive been using them for just over 4 months, My Number of services with them is vast, I use all their services and have 12+ now including some not mentioned on their site. I have always received top notch support from them since Day 1, The owner is very friendly and there staff are also very quick on support and sales is generally quick enough for my needs and I never have to wait to long for a response.
I use them for hosting my company website offsite from our servers. I have put my sole trust into them for hosting my company site to add redundancy to our own services. I must say, it was well worth it. Ive never noticed any downtime and none has ever been reported.
As much as I provide hosting Ill always backup my providers with positive feedback if they deserve it. Trust me, VT6 more than deserve it. Hope you find my comments useful :)
Best Regards,
