Hello. I'm thinking of designing a side for someone and want to implement some kind of editor that they can access to edit their site once I design it. This would be removing/adding pictures, editing the text in each section of the site. Does anyone know of something that would allow me to do this that wouldn't be too complex? Thank you

Try that. It's not WYSIWYG, though, it's only text.
Yeah I definitely need one that can add/remove pictures since he is an artist.

Have you looked at NVU yet?
I can not post the link since I have <5 posts but do a google search for NVU. It is an open source html editor that is similar to Frontpage and Dreamweaver

if you want a really simple solution look into a WYSIWYG editor.

Many with the same requirements have used WordPress (http://wordpress.org) as a foundation/starting point. There's many other open-source applications that can be advantageous to your clients. Personally I built a simple CMS that I start many of my client's sites with. I prefer giving my clients the ability to update & manage their own sites verses charging to do updates for them, even though it'd make more money.
