$75 US, based per hour.

We charge $75+ per page for a static site, $75 per hour for programming. We also charge $200+ for upfront design work.

However, in todays market many times we have to put a package together that brings the price down.

It depends on the quality. pixelbrick.com I've heard charges 5000-50000 for their designs

I charge what I feel the customer will pay.

Some sites I use shells (templates) and fill in the blanks, sometimes I charge a package fee for the tight arse's and sometimes I charge an hourly rate, this is based on shopping carts.

For designs that require a whole unique look, I charge a combination of fess.

I also have modules that I can drop in the webpage that perform certain functions and work with other modules I create.

$165 p/h programming
$90 p/h graphics
$90 p/h design

For modules I have already created I charge 10% of the cost price.

E.g. Module A cost me 14hours @ $165 = 2310
%10 = $231.

Works well for me, but then I have taken 9 years to develop this sale technique.

There is a company that http://www.fullwebservice.com. They can register a domain, host it, design it and then promote it. Their packages start at $400. Plus you have an option of buying their services individually according to your needs and requirements.

I usually work design at around $50(US) an hour just set a flat rate on what the job should take time wise. In general you get pretty good at guessing after a while :)

$35 to $45 an hour for design and development - really depends on their priority they place on the service request and after chatting with them and knowing what they want - also run short and random promotions that give a % discount (people seems to like this a lot)

I don't think any developer should go less then $35 unless you're an entry-level developer and/or don't have a portfolio to show your potential clients.

I usually charge a flat rate for a site, including hosting and domain registration, for hourly stuff I've charged $25USD/hour which is low, but I was still in high school when I started my company.

thank for the feedback. are all these price base on static pages? how about if you're doing ASP, PHP, JSP or creating a web application for customers? do you charge base on what the web app will do?

launching a design company soon will be charging for design work probably a 5 page static html website from $1500AU. about $850US (i think that works out to be around there)
That will be in like a package.

Changes/Small re-design work will get charged out at $65AU/per hour works out around $40US so yeah pretty cheap by international standards.

PHP/Mysql Backend database driven websites are going to start from $4000AU will be quote-quote these sites.

So yeah really does depend on a few factors(what country your from, Local competitors pricing, What currency you using?, What clients are you going to target? etc etc.

U.S. local competitors price are higher. targeting small biz owners. thinking about going either Linux/PHP/MySQL or Window/ASP/MS SQL.

Dynamic = 1500

so a 20 page dynamic website will cost you
20*1500 = 30000
