Hello,

We have a client who has a mailing list of about 50 million opt-in subscribers. He currently uses RoboMail on a few dedicated servers, but due to a split within the company he will no longer have access to the robomail licenses or the servers.

So, he is considering to move his mailing list to a hosted provider.

Does anyone have any good recommendations? Please do not refer a company you have just "heard about". I am looking for recommendations from reliable companies that you *know* are good quality providers from personal experience.

Thanks.

depending on budget he could consider moving to a 'real' email asp. I have tried emailvision.com and silverpop.com. They are pricey, but really good.

I work for a publication company that owns 80 different magazines, and I am one of the tech people involved in the mailings. We just completed a move from EmailLabs (http://www.emaillabs.com/) to ReachMail (http://www.reachmail.net/). Both systems handled the mailings nicely, though we moved to ReachMail because it is the more powerful system. It has a few more advanced features EmailLabs just didn't have that were a good fit for our company. I would look into them both as possible solutions.

well, 50 MILLION emails would become a problem ...
the price would run into $xx,xxx considering normal companies allow 1k emails for approx $20...
well best of luck though..

"opt-in" subscribers still report for spam. Id be very careful, i had a whole block of IP's blacklisted by ISP's
