I have tried CPanel but it has to many features and configuration for what I need.
I have tried Plesk and that was even worse.

Here is what I need to do:

I bought a dedicated server to host my 300+ websites
I am not doing hosting for anyone else except for myself

I need a control panel/gui I can use to add new sites and domains to my server

I know I can manually go in and add the folder for the site and point my httpd.conf file to that folder based on the domain name its associated to.

I want a simple gui where I can go in and manage my FTP account and add new domains to my server as I acquire them. I do not need reseller options or to setup different packages I am the only one using this server.

edit: I am using CentOS as my operating system

Thanks

I would suggest you to switch to Windows. The IIS manager is pretty straight forwar on what you want to do here.

I bought a license and I have it installed and configured.

My question now is:

What do I use for nameservers ?

I do not have my own....

I am using whatever nameserver bulkregister puts my domains on when I purchase them.

First you register your own nameserver for your main domain with bulkregister (you must have received 2 IPs on your server for that) now configure those name servers on your server, once done you will be using those nameservers for your domains.

OpenDNS is not Managed DNS as far as I know.

You have DA on your server, its better to create your own nameservers.

BTW is your VPS managed or unmanaged, even if it is unmanaged, most probably your provider will be kind enough to guide you through it.

Since I have not used DA hence I won't be able to help you out.

Any DA admin here to help this guy out.
