SoftWareRevue 10-11-2007, 07:49 AM I haven't seen any ads for doubleclick. If you're talking about the ads being served by doublecllck, yes, that's what we do now. So a company has to approach WHT or Double click in order to fill the ad spot. The Prohacker 10-11-2007, 08:58 AM So a company has to approach WHT or Double click in order to fill the ad spot. WHT :) We are utilizing DoubleClick's DART for Publishers (DFP) to serve ads on our site. We still book and bill for ads ourselves since we are an independant company. Any benefits in using them to serve WHT ads. The Prohacker 10-11-2007, 10:09 AM Any benefits in using them to serve WHT ads. Our previous ad server was AdJuggler and it was hosted inside of our infrastructure. DoubleClick's solution is completely hosted and maintained by DoubleClick themselves. There is always an administrative cost when hosting your solution and there were significant advantages to DoubleClick's system over their competitors, namely in reporting and features to users. DFP is hosted in multiple data centers so their ads should not slow down our sites like AdJuggler was at times (mind you we are still phasing our AdJuggler so you might still see it load sometimes). Mr. Obvious 10-11-2007, 12:23 PM That, and AdJuggler sucked lol. /me has noticed a speed increase and disables adblock for WHT :) amex 10-14-2007, 10:02 AM That, and AdJuggler sucked lol. /me has noticed a speed increase and disables adblock for WHT :) Adjuggler was painfully slow at times, I'm glad WHT finally moved away from that nighmare. You guys do know that on the bottom of WHT it still says managed by Adjuggler :stickout: SoftWareRevue 10-14-2007, 11:28 AM We still have a couple things managed by adjuggler for now. :) |
