Dave - Just199 10-10-2007, 10:57 PM A while back I read a thread where people were talking about different ssh clients, for the life of my I cannot find that thread so I figured I would start a new thread for everyone to list the clients that they are familiar with.
I will start off..

tsj5j 10-11-2007, 02:58 AM SecureCRT is great for it's tabbing features and professional ongoing development.
Dave - Just199 10-11-2007, 08:29 AM I was thinking about buying SecureCRT but I use 5 computers on a regular basis and I don't want to buy 5 licenses.

I'm not sure if this still works with the latest release of version 5. I did do this with 4.1 a long time ago though :)
BurstnetPR 10-11-2007, 05:08 PM I really like using Putty. Haven't looked for much else since it is able to keep up with all my needs. Simple to use, nice small program.
digital sc4rz 10-11-2007, 05:10 PM I like axessh
BlueHayes 10-11-2007, 05:50 PM Thanks to those who mentioned SecureCRT - it looks like a *really* nice SSH client application, will look at buying it though the price seems a bit steep. It really does look great though. I'm gonna look around for other alternatives still, but this has opened my eyes a bit that there are more feature-full SSH clients :)
waveweb 10-11-2007, 05:54 PM I also like Putty, it's great
vx|brian 10-11-2007, 06:13 PM MidpSSH for BlackBerry is a very nice SSH client.
eDedi 10-11-2007, 06:17 PM why would you need anything more than putty for direct ssh? :S
BlueHayes 10-11-2007, 06:24 PM Well look at the small handy features that SecureCRT has! For one thing, the tabbed connections. This aint just normal tabs but tabs with special colour coding to inform of the connection state ;) Seems a bit stupid huh? That's just one small feature that makes it more appealing to me :)
Adam-AEC 10-11-2007, 07:08 PM MidpSSH for BlackBerry is a very nice SSH client.
+1
Very convenient when I cant' get the laptop out and have to find WiFi.
Turning out to be a real life-saver.
lwbbs 10-12-2007, 06:00 PM I just use Putty.

Dave - Just199 10-12-2007, 08:16 PM If putty had a version with tabs I would pay for it..
SBHS-Scott 10-12-2007, 10:02 PM ssh -V
OpenSSH_4.3p2 Debian-8ubuntu1, OpenSSL 0.9.8c 05 Sep 2006
GloryImSaved 10-13-2007, 06:44 PM I've been using putty for years. I don't know where I'd be without it.
gibraltarhostings 10-15-2007, 09:44 AM Using the terminal on a Linux GUI gives tabs and all the functionality of most SSH clients too.
PCS-Chris 10-15-2007, 12:29 PM I have always used Putty because its plain simple and gets the job done. Will have to try some of these other clients ;)
ckeeper 10-15-2007, 03:56 PM putty all the way, fast and simple, and anyway i dont like tab when it come to play with ssh :)
Dave - Just199 10-15-2007, 07:33 PM I have been using securecrt for the last couple of days and I must say it's very nice to have 10 tabs rather than 10 copies of putty open.
