Assuming I have wrongly registered a domain name.

How can I sell it to another person after realizing my mistake?

I have seen such instances whereby abc.com was registered to Individual A on the 29th of September 2007, however on the 4th of October its registere under Individual B.

How's that possible?

Thank you.

You can try selling it on places like dnforum.com and sedo.com, but I doubt you would get anything for it.

Talk to your registrar, they might even give you your money back.

Not even the 7.99 which I paid for it?

Wow, you mean the registrar is willing to do it? Even after 5 days?

Some (but VERY few) registrars allow you to cancel (AND REFUND, perhaps minus administrative fees) new registrations, within the first 5 days of course.

If you shared your domain, it might help. :)

I doubt you will get your money back, not after 5 days. People would abuse the system, if it was set up this way.

I just figured it was worth a shot to send a friendly email to your registrar.
