I am opening a web design company and offer web hosting with my own nameservers. Who do you recommend to register my domains with. I am registering a .com, and a .net and maybe a .info I like domainsite and namecheap, could anyone recommended them or another registrar. There are a number of registrars out there that can do the basics just fine: register a domain and let you update your records. The other questions you should ask are which ones have smooth transfer processes, which ones have a secure reputation, which ones have secure policies when it comes to accessing your account or changing account info, and how long they've been in business. It's easy to make a bad decision for a registrar, but not so easy to make a good one IMO. Also, will you be in need of customer service? Do they have telephone numbers available? Is it free? Answer some of those questions as far as what you want, and I think you'll get much more narrowed responses. stub 10-08-2007, 07:48 PM NameCheap would be a good alternative.
