my friend has registered a domain name (gnadbd.com) from connectbd.com. its a **** domain & hosting provider. my friend was not well knowledged about hosting. so they cheated with him. did not give any control panel. even he has to contact and wait 2/3 days to change his account password. same for creating email and all others

now he wants to transfer the domain & hosting. but the cheating company is not giving the secret code for transfer. they r telling "its not our policy to allow to allow transfer. we may update the ns if u wanna change hosting". but he still wants to change domain as the price is higher too while getting many cheap prices.

so far I found the main registrar may be http://www.srsplus.com/.

so whats action my friend may take against the company to release the domain. they even set all contact info in favor of them.

by the way, any bd people never go for such provider. there are many cheat hosting provider in BD. Few are listed in www.hostingtalkbd.com

The domain is registered under the name of connectbd.com. You should carefully read the Terms and Conditions before registering a domain name so you don't run into trouble.

It's even hard to say that they cheated your friend with the hosting. As far as I can not really see on the website that they offer control panel. I am not trying to defend connectbd.com, just wanted to say that think twice before choosing a provider.

have you or did you even do any research here on WHT about them, before your friend signed up with their services??

well let this be a lesson for your friend. ALWAYS do research on the provider you're choosing.
