I've just switched from a managed to an unmanaged dedicated server. Things are going pretty well so far as I have some experience and I've been working with mysql from the command line for some time now. Anyways, to the point:

I need to setup some pop email accounts, but I'm not sure exactly how to do this. It's a linux server running apache w/ sendmail. I know that I need to edit the sendmail.d/ file maildomains, but what else do I need to do to setup a pop email account. Specifically how do I enter the pop name and assign a password.

BTW, other pop email boxes are already setup on the server, so I know everything is alread configured correctly. I just need to know how to add new accounts.

I know it's a basic question, but I really need some help here.

Dang, I'm glad I use a GUI to administrate my server. I couldn't help you there, but shouldn't you maybe consider purchasing a control panel to make life a little simpler? Sorry to get off topic. ;)

sendmail doesent do pop, you need something like qpopper for pop accounts.
