I have been looking at CPanel, Plesk and LXAdmin, my only experience is with CPanel and it works great, but looking at prices closer I see that LXAdmin it is one of the cheapest, I have tried the demo they have on their website.
Can anyone reccomend LXAdmin or anyone thinks I should not go for it?
I am bit puzzled why being one of the cheapest it is not been used as widely as Plesk or CPanel.
I use it before it got little bug

Personally I cannot stand lxadmin.
It is complete and utter crap as far as I am concerned.
its veryfast and usuable - give it a whirl and see how you get on. Its about personal preference. It is also regulary updated from the developers.

Ok, I get the idea, it seems like in the end it is all about personal preference... Should have guessed.
Thanks for the input

Exactly. I have personally used Cpanel and I like it very much because it is very user friendly. So if some one ask me which is the best panel, I will tell it is Cpanel. But for some one who has been using Plesk will tell thats more easier to use.

Lxadmin is still being developed...post anything on their forum and they will implement and replly in mintes.
What i like about it is ITS SUPER Light.....i have big forums and blogs running on a VPS with just 256MB Ram and it can easily handle more than 100000 uniques a month

It is a fairly new product.
I tried it and was too busy at the time to continue the learning process. I think the type of site and how extensively your sites depend on mod rewrites and the like will determine whether or not you like it. As I ditched the account they were in the process of adding some features.
I don't have a dog in the fight so if you have some specific questions I will try to answer them.

Yes, the url-rewrite support in lighttpd is a bit... different. For people used to mod_rewrite it can be hard to adjust. LXA also supports Apache but if you switch you increase its memory footprint.
While you're comparing control panels you might also want to look at DirectAdmin - another lightweight and relatively cheap option that's a bit more established than LXA.

Lxadmin is used by me for my VPS clients. Its alrite, but very lightweight. On the security side though, there are some concerns. Some clients have reported that they could run over to another account(About 2 so far, for my usage of close to a year).
Overall, if you know how to secure your server, using it should be no problems. I do agree with foobic. You might want to look at DirectAdmin. Its about the same price as LxAdmin, and is also very lightweight.

I like that LxAdmin runs lighthttpd and bogofilter.
