A while ago I used a link from this forum to go to NamePros.com website and from there setup a free eNom account. All of this worked fine and I got an account that i can access at enomcentral.com.

What is strange though is when I register domains NamePros seems to be somehow involved:

1) I get an initial confirmation email from NamePros, even though I register the domain using my eNom account

2) Initially the whois information shows as NamePros but changes later to eNom

Can anybody explain to me what's going on here?

NamePros is an eNom reseller, one of few I can personally trust.

They are good resellers, and have a Pay per click plan, too. ENom trelationships are strange, but namepros are good; they and namecheap are more trustable than enom in my point of view.

How can they be more trusted then eNom? They are both resellers for eNom.

If you do not trust eNom, then you should not trust any eNom reseller.

No mrzippy. Enom is some times not fair with individuals, but is a business and no stupid. Is more probable they fix sometging if you have more domains. As example, i have not domains with yu, but is better have domains with you than with my own little reseller.

This kinda goes back to receiving more personal service from a reseller then you would from the company directly. I can kinda understand how you can trust a reseller more than the actual company, the bigger fish in the pond is louder and can get things done quicker then Joe Blow with 8 domains.

Yes. And Enom Acts many times solving quickly if is reseller, but much delays if u are a end user.

When a reseller has a special relationship being the biggest client and can call the president and get things fixed asap... you could trust them more than the company itself as their clout can get more done than they would do for you normally.
