Hi,
I'm thinking of starting a site where I want a forum and a wiki. I was looking for good wiki software, and found Ipbwiki (http://www.ipbwiki.com), which integrates IPB and Media Wiki.
Has anyone heard of or used it, and what is your opinion? It sounds pretty useful.
I have not heard about it. I would say to use phpBB with Media Wiki. That would rock. [ Its just my opinion].
WHT uses VB with Wiki, just take a look at VB official site too for some information.

Yes, but this software integrates the two very well. It'd be hard to integrate phpbb with media wiki. You should read the feature list.
I am not a big fan of IPB, so my suggestion was to move with either VB or phpBB. I would say to go with phpBB, coz you can spend more money in custamizing according to your needs.

Yeah, but it'd be quite a pain to get all the features included in this software, and this is the type of site I really don't want to do a lot of custom development for, even though i'd be able to.
I'm just wondering if anyone has used this software and/or what people think of it. I know I can just install Media Wiki, and the forum of my choice (I generally prefer SMF), but I want them to be a little more integrated preferably.
