Hi,
How can I setup same domainname two different network. Ex. ns1/ns.mydomain.com Unix server and A network. And ns3/ns4.mydomain.com NT server and B network. A network control panel cp.mydomain.com. B network control panel Cp2.mydomain.com. Can I setup, if i can how ?

Am i going to be able to use the same domain name on two different hosting systems.

Thank you

Yes, you can do that.

You will need to register the nameservers (ns1,.,.,etc.) at your registrar accordingly.

Your ns1/ns2 will point towards IPs on Network A.

Your ns3/ns4 will point towards IPs on Network B.

Your main domain will use one of nameservers, either at A or B. Say you use A. There you can setup cp and cp2.mydomain.com in dns.

I have one question regarding this.

I thought it was random at what nameservers the net chooses when the site is loaded?

I am a little new at this area, so correct me if I am wrong, but aren't you NOT guaranteed to get ns1/ns2 over ns3/ns4?

If so, it wouldn't be a problem if you have a pretty static website, but if there is forums, perhaps it could cause some conflicts?

The nameservers we are talking about, are registered at registrar. They are used for pointing other domains to IP addresses.

If you put only ns1 and ns2 in yourdomain.com, (and not ns3, ns4), then only ns1 and ns2 will be used for name resolution.

And you can setup all subdomains/hosts within yourdomain.com at ns1 and ns2. And use ns3 and ns4 at another network for other domains.

I setup second network's account. Same domain's ns3/ns4 nameservers.
But for this account (Network B), my customs mails (mail.custom1.com must point to mail./pop.mydomain.com)
How can i setup this mail server without change my main mx server ( this is on Network A).

NS1/NS2 > Linux and mailserver point to mail.mydoamin.com
NS3/NS4 > NT and mailserver point to pop.mydomain.com.
