Hi there i just want to what the average advertising cost is for a banner which is placed near the top of roughly 350x200 in size.

The website receives over 1100 unique visitors on an average day, everyday.

We have roughly upto 15 pages only with google adsense on each page. The ad's generate over 1k of impressions on the google ad's and each day get over 30 clicks throughout the 15 pages.

Now how much shall i charge for a business which is selling products and services also?

How much do you think would be a reasonable price for the rough stats ive mentioned above for a 350x200 banner positioned near the top.

Also what would be the price if we were to add the banner ad on all our pages 15-20 (pages and growing?).

How much per day will be good?
Per week?
Once a month?

Thanks!

That's a tricky question as there are tons of variables involved in advertising.

I'll speak from someone who buys advertising (ie: we buy, not sell). Unless you're in a very niche market and can charge anything you want, most advertisers or small businesses look for metrics and want to buy CPM (cost per thousand).

Advertisers will also likely want to know _who_ those 1100 uniques are, eg: are 50% from North America, 10% Southeast Asia and 40% rest of the world?
Who are they specifically? A real world magazine or newspaper has audits to prove their readership.

Hmm, actually, you could contact magazines and ask them for their media kits. These will give you a sense of how advertising is sold.

You'll need to offer a much broader breakdown than you are doing here.

Of course you can charge more for banners "above the fold" (first screen of a typical monitor) ... but that's only if you have the audience your advertisers are seeking. Otherwise, even asking $30/mo could be too much.

Good luck!
