Where to advertise your hosting business ?

I guess there are tons of these threads and searching would give nice results, but I decided to give out my ideas also.

1. Obviously the best way to "advertise" your biz is to serve your present customers as well as you can.

2. Try to search for free webhosting comparison sites or sites that list webhosting sites and add your site.

3. Try searching other webhosts and study where they advertise. This way you might find some new ways to advertise your business.

Your company is still rather small(you did nice job last week, getting about 5-7 new customers) so I wouldn't recommend any large marketing campaigns in the internet for example. When you have raised your marketing budget it might be good to do some banner advertising also.

Anyways, searching old threads will give you a lot of information.

In depth analysis of your rivals(well we don't work in the same market but still...) is the key to success. Using the information is the actual door to success.

As you might know, perfect information is impossible to find but if I guess right the week before was rather "dry" for you.

I can't reveal the way I got this information because it's my own system, I think there are some public services for this kind of an information, too.

But how can you find information about the dedicated servers we sold or clients on other ip addresses ?

3. banner exchange
4. Pay Per click program..

There are countless places to advertise. Where you advertise depends on your service and your target market. However, no matter what you are offering, you would probably get good results advertising in Web hosting directories. I have had limited success this way.

Ultimately, word-of-mouth is the best promotional method of all - but you need customers before they can start recommending your service!

Remember that the Internet is not the only place/medium to advertise.
