Does anyone know a trouble ticket software package system where someone could send a trouble ticket via the page itself or when they email, let's say, support@yourdomain.com it goes to the database?

perldesk is kind of dead at the moment. Haven't seen or head of any updates and the forum is shut down. I think John is using the script to run his perlbill softwae. Good way to get help to create a paid script!!

PerlDesk is far from dead, 1.6 is in development. The forums will also return with the 1.6 release.

how do you setup perldesk so if someone emails me at support@whatever.com it adds a ticket?

You need to use the email piping feature included with the Perl Desk download. Excellent program, by the way. I think you'll really like it!

:blush: Sure as heck wish I could get perldesk to so much as install. I followed the instructions to a "t" and I am getting 500 I.S.E's. Permissions are all right, paths are all right, everything's set according to the instructions... *sigh* I hear what a great program it is, but I am far from convinced -- and it's not worth $70 to me to keep fighting it.

Does anyone know, does it even work on a box with suEXEC enabled????
