I need a new merchant account for accepting payments for subscription based forums. For example: Clients will pay to get access for to certain areas of a forum.

The problems i m facing.....

1. Paypal has already denied and backed out of such a site!

2. I m not sure about 2co, i have an account with them but that is only used for webhosting, i dont want them to shut both accounts in case something goes wrong.

3. Googlecheckout only works in US and UK.

4. CDGCommerce would only work with "affiliates" outside US.

5. Worldpay has a hefty fees.

6. Psigate could be an option but am quite skeptical.

Any other one left?? I m loosing a lot of money due to stupid GayPal and i need a figure a way out asap!!

Check out subscription model payment providers -- ccbill or epoch in the US, segpay and 365billing in the EU.

http://businesscenter.ccbill.com/pricing.php

Rates starting at 15%, i would consider a cheaper solution if possible.

I don't want to jump to conclusions or anything, but as far as I know paypal doesn't have a problem being a payment method for forum subscriptions. If I had to guess I would say that your content or product is of a "high risk" type of nature most likely. With high risk comes high fees usually.

Is ccbill reliable?

Is ccbill reliable?

Very. They are a fully licensed IPSP in the US and have a solid reputation.

If you are in the US there might be some local "high-risk" options as well.

How about an EU option? Got a corporation in Europe?

Any more suggestions please? For a high risk account?

Another suggestion I have is Verotel or Intabill, they can do memberships/subscriptions deal with non-US corporations.

Most people will just try to rape you on the rates and hidden fees, try precharge, they don't do accounts but they helped me get an account for someone in the UK and since they don't offer accounts directly, they might be able to help you get a good rates.
