For almost the past 7 years I have had servers with Dialtone, OLM, Rackspace and a few other small companies.
I recently sent a server to co-locate at Rackmy.com and I am actually shocked at how courteous, professional and fast these guys are. They had the server online the day they received it even though it was received damaged and they had to reinstall the OS. The tech, Mike, is without a doubt the nicest tech I have ever dealt with and even sent a follow up email to ask if things were going ok.
I usually don't post in here about my experiences with hosting companies but it is so damn refreshing to see a company go the extra mile and actually do what they say they are going to do they without a doubt deserve it.

Thanks for the kind words :)
Nothing is worse than opening a customers box and finding the server damaged. Mike Augustine has become and expert in fixing bent 2550s, we had one shipped 2 weeks again and it got crunched too. 1 hour later using a screwdriver, hammer and pliers he was able to get in the rack. :)

Are you able to supply a video how he managed that?
:D

I'm so happy to see *legitimate*, well deserved praise (not spam in disguise) after reading so many horror stories here on WHT. Congrats RackMy - you guys always have acted professional and is nice to see customers benefiting.
ps, what's with damaged servers? FedEx bent an Intel server chassis I shipped to Site5 last month. I don't think they had to take a hammer to mine to repair it (yay!). Its a rack mount conspiracy brought on by the beige box guys!

It seems that servers that are shipped in "packing peanuts" are always the ones that get crunched. Foam is the way to go :)

Just wanted everyone to know I'll be visiting RackMy's facility and I'll post afterwards of my expierience. I look forward to this because it'll be the second data center I've been to. If it's too nice they might have to drag me out of there (playing CS on dual OC3's would rule :) ).
