And these account specs...

$15.00/Month - 150 MB space, 5 GB bandwidth, 20 subdomains
$20.00/Month - 250 MB space, 10 GB bandwidth, 35 subdomains
$25.00/Month - 350 MB space, 12 GB bandwidth, 50 subdomains
$30.00/Month - 500 MB space, 15 GB bandwidth, 100 subdomains

Extras...
50 MB block diskspace - $5/Month
1 GB bandwidth - $4/Month
Domain Pointer - $3/Month

Do you think these are priced well and will be competitive? What do you think would be a good addition to what I've listed, if anything? Mmm.. do you think anything should be thrown out, specs lowered, price lowered, etc.

Thanks for any input :D

elena,

the prices you have listed are good.

just a few points:

1) typically domain pointers are free (as they use no real resources what so ever... and it looks good if you give stuff for fre :))

2) you might want to differentiate between your lower priced accounts.

example:
not give plan 1 any mysql thereby making them get plan 2 if they want it :)

3) maybe charge for MX record changes, as people are like to take advantage fo this. even 5.00 would still be worth it

4) the biggest 2 accounts that include 12 & 15 gigs of bandwidth could really crush you. as i am sure you are paying about 400-600 for 100 gigs of bandwidth per month, if you got a few sites that were hogging and actaully using the full amount, then you would burn the gigs to quickly to be profitable.

other then that.. it all looks great !!

I wish this were true for Plesk. I'll leave it at that. Explaining it is very very very very long.

Just about everything you listed looks very good and competitive to other hosts.
As other have pointed out, things like Domain Pointers & MX Records or even additional emails could be offered for free or maybe even a one-time charge rather than a monthly fee.

while i am not up on plesk...

i was answering this question under the assumption that this person was using cpanel/WHM combo. i could tell this by her cpanel skin that she developed and the list of options that are associated with cpanel.

and i suppose you have a point that this is a very subjective question & can best be answered depending upon which software she will be providing her clients. perhaps free pointers is not the answer with plesk, but still a possibility with cpanel/WHM.

point well taken... :)
