We have domain reseller account at Directi/Resellerclub. Their prices will increase soon. We had paid deposit about $13000 and they will ask $6.99 + transaction fee at least from us to register a domain. What do you think about this subject? Do you know a cheaper registrar for resellers?

No, they margin was decent. Anyway, exist already 2 threads about that. IMHO; RC is the better for reseller customers.

6.99 is the price after 12th October, until that date, price is 6.49$

And if you do 400 years of total renewals your price will be $6.29, you will get refund in your account once you have achieved that.

@dhcart if you had already deposited $13000, I don't think there will be any transaction charge further, it is charged at the time of transaction only when you are adding funds using Paypal or Credit Card.

the transaction fee only charged when you deposited the fund, after that the fund you have will be debited when you register a domain name (without transaction fee).

about the price increase.. does other companies (such as enom, onlinenic, etc.) do that too?

I think Directi only. I did not hear anything about this subject from other registrars. We had chose them because of the cheap prices. But it will be expensive soon. Also their interface is too complex. Our customers cannot use it. So if I find a cheaper offer when I'll goto another registar.

I can suggest Estdomains.com.

Estdomains using Orderbox, not reseller of DirectI.

My current balance $1000+, and registration (transfer/renewal) is only $5.75.

last time i check they was 6.00 but estdomains is used by spammers.

Really is too much risk, make numbers , domaincentral is not related with spammers, not need sum commisions, and price is nearly the same.

Is Domaincentral reseller of Bottledomains?

Why not work directly with registrars?

Excuse me general but i cant follow your logic.

0 ) Why use reseller club and no real registrars ?? Is that implicit in your statement. In that case, for control.

1 ) Domaincentral is used for many of us without problems, but use price in USD. You can use bottledomains, BUT need use then Aussies and not USD.

2 ) The prices of bottledomains and the prices of Domaincentral, ARE DIFFERENT, bottle domains are high. Same with mydomain and namesdirect, both are the same registrar but fiocused to differnt TARGETS. I dont know where are u thinking are a reseller themselves, but if u fail the prices differences, i cant say more.

3 ) In enom, as example, many of us get better service with resellers, namepros and namecheap, as example. Use reseller is not a good idea always but yes in some scenarios. For me, look strange you compare estydomains, but not qualispace, a not related spammers , or stargate, both with resellers. Is a long offtopic anyway.

4 ) I have Around 20 domains with domain central, and Are DIFFERNT ICANN REGISTRAR than the domaincentral whois himself.

Domaincentral say is bottledomains bla bla bla

My domain say this :
AUSTRALIAN STYLE PTY LTD
Created: 2007-07-01
Expires: 2008-07-01
Registrar Status: ok
Name Server: NS1.BODIS.COM
Name Server: NS2.BODIS.COM
Whois Server: whois.australianstyle.com.au

In that case, is reseller of them, no bluebottle.

5 ) You can transfer between them and answerable and reseller club or answerable the .org domains. Why ? Maybe you can think they are resellers of reseller club.

From the site http://www.publicdomainregistry.com
PublicDomainRegistry is an industry leader in providing Domain Registration Solutions. Our services are made available through our global network of Partners. We offer a one-stop-shop for a large number of gTLDs and ccTLDs making it easy for you to manage all your domain names through a single provider.

And ResellerClub/DirectI/PublicDomainRegistry are the same company (in a way).

So there is nothing wrong in doing business with ResellerClub, but then that's my thought.

Well i have a doubt. After the intial payment is there any renewal that we should do every year or its just one time payment of $13000 and u purchase domain @ $6.49/lifetime or until they increase the price.

All the registrars upgrade prices when Registries does. You conserve the SLAB , but is 50 cts more in some days. If you go to do something, do now.

Vinayak_Sharma

If you are talking about RC

They have this slab system
Base Slab $199 - Initial Deposit or Total Receipts and domain rate is $8.99 (current price)

That means you will deposit $199 (around INR 8000) and start booking/transferring and renewing domain, each transaction will be deducted from your deposit of $199, now once your funds have exhausted you will deposit more that could be any thing $10, $20 or what ever (they must have set some minimum amount) this new deposit will be added to your account and your total receipt will increase. Once your total receipt crosses the next Slab you get the corresponding rates.

So you either deposit $11999 to get highest slab or reach there by adding funds from time to time.

RC is increasing price like many other Registrars read this http://www.webhosting.info/news/1/1001078575
