Any experiences with americanservers.net? They are cheap, and I'm curious to know what I'm sacrificing, if anything.

make sure you research about their bandwidth policies....

Which should be about right for my needs. When you say bandwidth, do you mean transfer, or transfer rate? These words seem to get interchanged all the time. I never seem to see anything about charging for transfer rate, just the transfer.

Am I being naive? How does the 95%ile rule actually work?

Bandwidth Transfer is what he meant. But you should also make sure that your line is not capped.

Our servers bandwidth is burstable and measure by average.
