Can anyone point me in the direction of some UK terms and conditions that I can either have, or buy or a UK lawyer that can assist me on getting some t & c's together.

They need to be for hosting, VPS's, etc.

Thanks in advance.

I would suggest that whatever you do you should run it past your lawyer, if you don't allready have one, use the opportunity to introduce yourself to a good business lawyer, better to start the relationship at the beginning of your business venture, than when a 'crisis' happens.

I believe there are terms/conditions/AUPs you can buy, but I would expect that, anything 'off the shelf' will require tweaking to suite your use.

You can look around other UK sites such as our BWS site (http://www.basswebservices.net/tac.html), for inspiration (but do not 'copy' without permission).

I believe, some reseller providers will allow you to use there terms etc.
maybe worth asking if this fits your situation.

Good Luck

Cheers for that, Brian.

Finding a lawyer is easy, finding what who understands the business might be a little harder. I've perused a few other T & C's (and now yours, thankyou), but as you say, you can't copy them per-se and to write some from scratch seems impossible because of all the little caveats packed in there.

I suppose I could write down the headings, write up what I think then double check to see what details I have missed.

I thought there might be a specialist lawyer in the UK that might have this stuff off the shelf, as it where... subject to a bit tweaking, as you say....

If I had the time I would try to help you as I'm legally qualified but theres a new baby in the family the now so I'm trying to take it easy.

You could try looking at other web hosting companies and writing up your own, it can be hard, but might save you a couple hundred quid.

Thanks for the thought. :)

I think I will go with this as a starting point and 'fine tune' accordingly....
