Well, we are getting ready to launch our latest creation, COMPUTICA Hosting - A Division of The COMPUTICA Group of Companies, Inc.

We have a few ideas for our package names, but nothing ever sounds good enough for us.....I think we are just too picky internally, but that is a good thing....

So, we need help naming our hosting packages. Here is a list of the various packages we will be offering:

Shared Hosting Plans:
- Plan A
- Plan B
- Plan C
- Plan D

Dedicated Servers:
- Plan A
- Plan B

We are open to many many ideas and are looking forward to what everyone can come up with...

I think the name of your hosting packages should reflect who the package is mainly targated at: (Starter, Student, Corporate/Enterprise, etc...) Or, something that has a relation to your company name/slogan.

We agree that it should possibly include something in relation to our company, but that is where we are having problems and are seeking help.....

Company Name: COMPUTICA Hosting

Company Slogan: Affordable - Reliable - Impeccable

COMPUTICA: If there isn't an easy way to get it to match your company, then make it match one of two other things:

a) Your site design. I know that sounds a little silly ... but if you have a real theme for your site design, it'll work out nicely. If it's just a corporate, run of the mill site design (you know what I mean here, so no one can flame me on that ... i've got asbestos pants on), then you can try to match it to

b) your intended customer. There is an ISP out there that is famous for saying "If you use AOL, or have used AOL, we don't want you" .... if you cater to businesses, then name them something that goes along with that, like "Small Business Plan", "Corporate", "enterprise", etc. If you cater to all, then name them "Individual", "Family", "Student", "Business", "Corporate", etc.

Did I make sense, or was I rambling?

No, that all made sense to me and are a couple of very good points....

We will keep that in mind while we keep trying to think of something we like around here.....and/or see something that someone posts in our thread here....
