I LOST EVERY MESSAGE RECEIVED FOR THE YEAR OF 2002 AND I'M PIPING ANGRY.

All POP3 accounts, all irriplaceable, and thanks to Norton and its quarantinee but never cleans files, I can even restore them..

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I HATE U OUTLOOK EXPRESS...

From getting booted out of google, to losing all my important emails and then thinking about all the student loans, I'm thorougly depressed. Why coudln't I've been a baby boomer and just cashed out on a couple 100 million dollars worth of stock

why me? why me?

Just curious, but how/why did you get booted out of Google?

you should be using Outlook XP - great product, ive not had a single virus since installing it, come to think of it ive not had a single attachment either, looks like microsoft took the stance of "trust nothing, block everything", and dont even give the user a choice to turn it off, except through some very wacky registry hacks !!

I'm using Outlook XP... Do a search on Google for a backing up. I found a nice addon on the MS site. It backs everything up, rules, inboxes and every folder :D

Sorry man, when using computers backups are essential. Backup first, then you can complain later :(

Why did you lose them? Norton deleted them all on you or what happend?

Good question. When I first entered my page I just had a "coming soon" which did get listed. Within the next month I created the page thinking after the crawl it would update the information. I check and my site will only come up under sites that link to me. My url gets nothing.

When trying to retrieve the back up copy, Norton attacked the folder. So essentially, I got hit in two ways. And even though the "Inbox" has data it can not be opened, or moreso the messages will not open.

The last back up I did covered a good portion of time and would be resourceful if I could retrieve those, but I really think that Norton did a RIP to the file when I tried to execute from Outlook
