Hello,
does anyone have idea like which payment gateway Godaddy, DirectI and other big registrars uses?
as they are dealing worldwide customer, so are they paying non qualified rates for foeign customers payments...

Well paypal is used by both of them and other then that theyt use their own merchant accounts to charge the cards.

DirectI support Paypal, All major credit cards, bank transfer etc.
Not sure about Godaddy though.
Never used them.

Merchant's with large sales volumes are often able to negotiate with their provider for lower costs on mids, nons, etc. They may have blended rates or interchange plus pricing to lower their costs for international cardholders.

DirectI use their sister company Transecute if I'm not mistaken.

DirectI use Transecute - the setup fee is very high. Around 750usd :(
